THUNDER BAY – A fifth local golfer will tee it up at this week’s Staal Foundation Open.

Robbie Untinen, who once shot 64 at Whitewater Golf Club, on Tuesday was added to the field at the last minute.

Untinen has played in the Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada’s previous two Thunder Bay stops, missing the cut both times.

He opened with a five-over 77 last year, closing with an even par 72 on Day 2, eight shots too many to stick around for the weekend.

Untinen was the 2015 Keg District Open champion. He'll join returnees Evan DeGrazia, Walter Keating Jr. and Jeff Hunter, and first-timer Evan Littlefield between the ropes this week.
