Untinen’s three-under 141 total has him two shots in front of Bill Shewcuck, who followed Saturday’s 73 at Thunder Bay Country Club with a two-under 70 at Strathcona Golf Course.

Past champions Robert Cumming and Barry Caland shot the low rounds of the day, each finishing at four-under 68 to roar back into contention.

Cumming is four off Untinen’s pace, while Caland is seven back.
