Nick Potter scored 24 points on Thursday, leading the Hammarskjold Vikings to an easy 63-46 win over St. Patrick in senior boys high school basketball.
Geordie Savela and 16 for the Vikings, while Jamie DelPaggio led the Saints with 15.
Elsewhere Alex Robichaud scored a game-high 30, just enough to help the Superior Collegiate Gryphons to a 60-59 triumph over St. Ignatius. The Falcons were led by 23 from Eric Trevisan.
In junior boys basketball play, Jordon Shonosky had 11 points to lead St. Patrick to a 41-32 win over Hammarsjkold, while across town Justin Reid and Connor Ahern each had 19 to lead Superior Collegiate to a 53-39 win over St. Ignatius.
On the volleyball court La Verendrye swept St. Patrick 3-0 in senior girls volleyball, while St. Ignatius edged Superior (Black) 2-1 and St. Patrick edged La Verendrye 2-1 in junior boys play.
