Jon Kreiner would probably like to have the fourth quarter back.
Jylisa Williams scored 28 points, but it was the Lakehead Thunderwolves smothering defence, that twice held the host Carleton Ravens to four points in a quarter, that won the day.
Lakehead led 46-18 after three.
Despite a fourth quarter that saw the Ravens score more points than they had combined for in the previous 30 minutes, the Thunderwolves rolled to a 52-40 road win Saturday night, their fourth straight since the Christmas break.
Williams was the only Lakehead player to hit double digits in the game. Katie Ulakovic had six points and Corina Bruni and Bridget O’Reilly each contributed four points in the winning effort.
Lindsay Shotbolt led the Ravens (6-5) with a dozen points.
