Wolframe nets five points, North Stars stay undefeated

Brandon Wolframe’s five-point night helped the Thunder Bay North Stars cruise to an 8-2 win over the host Minnesota Iron Rangers Tuesday night.

Brandon Wolframe’s five-point night helped the Thunder Bay North Stars cruise to an 8-2 win over the host Minnesota Iron Rangers Tuesday night.

Wolframe, who returned to the Stars in a trade just before the season began, scored twice and added three assists in the romp.
Returning veteran Trevor Hynnes had a goal and two assists for Thunder Bay, while Rob MacLean and Taylor Santorelli each netted a goal and an assist.

The North Stars (2-0-0) took a 4-1 lead in the first and were up 6-2 after 40 minutes.

Trevor Hoth and Jonathon Losurdo scored for Minnesota.
