The hockey Lancers got goals from six different skaters and cruised to a 6-3 home-ice win that ended Lakehead’s modest four-game winning streak.

Matt Beaudoin, Derek Lanoue, Christian Steingraber, Steve Ferry, Brett Vandehogen and former Thunderwolves forward Jadran Beljo, who left LU more than a year ago, did the damage for Windsor.

Trevor Gamache, who opened the scoring two minutes into the contest on the power play, Victor Anilane and Jake Carrick scored for Lakehead.

Carrick was later kicked out of the game in the third for leaving the bench; Carson Dubchak was tossed for fighting on the same play, which saw him assessed two minors, a major, a misconduct and a game misconduct. He’ll sit at least one OUA contest as a result. A total of 186 minutes in penalties were handed out.

Jeff Bosch started the game in nets for Lakehead, but was yanked 53 seconds into the second after Windsor’s fourth goal. He made just 11 saves.

LU was without star forward Matt Caria (illness) and captain Adam Sergerie (shoulder).
