KENORA, Ont. -- The Allan Cup is heading to Northwestern Ontario in 2017. Hockey Canada on Thursday announced the men’s national senior hockey championship will be hosted by the Kenora Thistles.

THUNDER BAY --Thursday evening’s Border Cats game has been postponed due to rain. The game scheduled against St. Cloud Rox will now be played as part of a twi-night doubleheader on Friday. The doubleheader is set to begin at 5:35 p.m.

A group of Thunder Bay Border Cats alumni are getting the chance to continue their baseball careers. Eight former Border Cats were selected in the Major League Baseball draft, which was held this past weekend.
