Toddler dies in Hamilton house fire, mother taken to hospital

HAMILTON — A toddler has died in a house fire in Hamilton. Hamilton Fire spokesman Claudio Mostacci says crews responded to a call around 10 a.m. He says heavy smoke and flames billowed from a basement window of the home when firefighters arrived.
