I agree that Sheehan has done a good job for the Soo, but as the Liberal talking point are Trump tariffs The Soo has a 2 big economic blows to contend with and the 2nd one the Liberals (specifically Sheehan) aren't talking about and that is the industrial carbon tax, this tax will be a bigger back breaker for the Soo then the tariffs, that I am sure will be lifted if we ever get someone at Trump's table to negotiate.

I wrote to Sheehan just before the last vote about increasing the consumer carbon tax, it was at the same time as that east coast MP was voicing against the increase. I was asking him to vote against the increase, I got a form letter response and Terry Sheehan voted in favor of increasing the consumer carbon tax. I felt that he was more interested in towing the party line than listening to his community, I can't afford to let that happen again with much bigger stakes at risk. For the first time I am voting Conservative in a federal election.
