Nomi is a great little shop - I have made several purchases there over the years. However, it was hit and miss to find the store open for business. So many times I’d see a CLOSED sign on the door. Perhaps these smaller retail shops could form a collective and rent a space together - share the rent, share the manpower, stay in business.

I enjoy fireworks... but two weeks after a holiday weekend the novelty wears thin and my dog is totally stressed out. Ever since May 24, there have been fireworks set off in my neighbourhood almost every night.
