A one shop stop solution awaits the cannabis consumers frequenting the local store, Toke House, in Thunder Bay.

Bid goodbye to multiple stops, where you had to go searching for the accessories to consume your cannabis, as Steve Kis, the owner of the Toke House is bringing it all under one roof.

Kis has begun merging Joint Cannabis Accessories with his established Cannabis store in Westfort. Renovations are slated to begin this year, but Kis says 90 percent of the accessories can now be purchased right away.

“We have already moved over the majority of products from the accessory side over to the pot shop and the items have been well received. This merge was something we had planned from the beginning of this endeavor, but wanted to be sure we perfected the Cannabis side of the business before bringing in more.”

While the store carries out the renovations, the store will still be open to the public during their regular hours as the renovations will be undergone in sections. Although the timeline is not yet clear, Kis hopes to have the store open with a new look this year.

What it means for the consumers is, eliminating multiple runs for their consumable needs while creating a complete shopping experience. A fresh look, with sections that will combine accessories and cannabis products together, showing how each work together, since Cannabis is not a one-size-fits-all. Kis says, there will be dedicated sections for general health, skincare, beauty, as well as the standard flower, edibles, vapes, CBD, etc.

“The plan is to have it all divided into sections in relation to each other. For example, to pair grinders with dried flower, etc. This would give the customers a better shopping and educational experience as they can now visually see items pair together. Staff will be fully educated on all the devices, allowing consumers a chance to learn about new and healthier choices when consuming cannabis. This is especially great for someone new who is thinking about trying Cannabis for the first time.” says Steve.

With this merge underway, Steve hopes that the shopping experience would be a welcomed, one-of-a-kind experience for Thunder Bay.

Toke House has more expansion plans this year, such as proposed new locations and new customer-based programs.

A glimpse into the future of this local Cannabis store sees continued growth.
