Last weekend Stacey Bragnalo put together a Bocce Ball tournament at the DaVinci sports bar to raise money for Special Olympics Ontario. There were 25 teams of 4 and 18 local sponsors. The event took place all day with teams competing for a cash prize. The day included an afternoon of bocce ball, a buffet dinner, raffle prizes and a 50/50 draw.

The event was attended by not only the people competing but friends and family who came to spectate and take part in the prizes. The winners were Mike Precosky, Tyler McCoy and Julia&Callen Bragnalo. In total they raised $2100. All money raised stays in the community.

Stacey Bragnalo along with Chelsea Hardick will be presenting the cheque to Thunder Bay Special Olympics next weekend. They plan to have it as an annual tournament.
