THUNDER BAY -- Giant Gymnastics’ competitive team has had quite a busy December.

The team of competitive athletes was accompanied by the developmental and dreams team to total 42 girl roster of travelling athletes this past weekend. The girls travelled to St. Paul Minnesota to attend the very honorable competition, the Peppermint Twist. It was the 30th annual invitational and the team came out on top. Coming home with over 75 medals, and three team awards was a very successful start to their busy season.

The competition hosted by the world champion producing Twin City Twisters always boasts a great challenge for the athletes attending and Giant Gymnasts handled it with strength and poise. Returning with four all around champions in Macy Gashinski, Katie Tofinetti, Adele Harvey and Ella Gasparotto and immense amounts of top three finishes Giant Gymnastics coaches could not be prouder. Having current world champion Grace McCallum watch and time your routines must have given the girls the extra support needed to be champions themselves. Huge congratulations to the developmental teams on their first competition ever!

Giant Gymnastics cannot wait to see what happens next meet when the head to sunny California to attend the live streamed event the California Grand Invitational! If you see the red giant gymnasts in town wish them luck!
