Fresh from Copenhagen Road winning Best Short Film at the Las Vegas International Film and Screenplay Competition, Confederation College film professor and director Lee Chambers turns his sites to directing an Oceans 11 style film called The Devil Knows You're Dead in mid September here in Thunder Bay.

Rogelio Camarillo from the upcoming season of Better Call Saul is flying in from Los Angeles to star as a guy who steals a quarter from a homeless man at a bar and turns the single coin into a casino-winning streak.

Chambers is looking for card sharks and slot players to help turn the Gateway Casino in Thunder Bay into the fictitious Lucky Lucky casino for the film.

On open casting call will take place Saturday, September 14th from noon to 2 p.m. in the Shuniah Building student lounge at Confederation College, where about 25 people will be selected to take part in The Devil Knows You're Dead.

The casting call will also be open resource for the Confederation College Film Production students who make about 150+ short films throughout the year.
