Reverend Randy Boyd and Sandra Cosbey, the music director of Trinity United Church go over the music selections for this Sunday’s special celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the United Church of Canada.
Trinity is inviting anyone with a connection to the United Church of Canada to join the congregation this Sunday. A massed choir will sing some of the most popular hymns over the last century. Rev. Boyd will reflect on the unique role of the United Church in the creation of a Canadian identity.
Afterwards, there will be refreshments and birthday cake to celebrate the coming together of the Methodists, Congregationalists and much of the Presbyterian church one hundred years ago. The celebration begins at 10:30 am this Sunday, June 22nd.
