Woodcrest Public School will move to virtual learning on Wednesday.

The community will receive 600 doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and Chief Peter Collins said they are hoping to have all members vaccinated by the end of April.

There are currently 22 COVID-19 patients admitted to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and six in the ICU.

Christine Elliott on Tuesday said the province wants to look at more data before making a recommendation for the district.

Thunder Bay now has 273 active COVID-19 cases, a new high for the district.

COVID-19 cases also detected at Ecole Gron Morgan Public School, Woodcrest Public School and the Lakehead Adult Education Centre at Victoria Park.
