This Tuesday in Thunder Bay – April 22, 2025
Thunder Bay begins the day with insight and industry as the Forestry Forward event, featuring Ian Dunn, President of the Ontario Forest Industries Association, takes place at the Italian Cultural Centre at 11:30 a.m. In the afternoon, two thought-provoking exhibits continue: Treaty 3: Manidoo Mazina’igan, The Sacred Document and Can Car and The Rosies, both offering a look into regional history and identity starting at 1:00 p.m.
At 3:00 p.m., the Anti-Racism & Equity Advisory Committee meets to advance dialogue and action on equity issues in the community. As evening sets in, Magnus Theatre stages another performance of Women of the Fur Trade, also showing at a nearby venue, blending sharp wit with historical storytelling. For a more casual night out, head over to The Foundry at 8:30 p.m. and take the mic at their lively Karaoke session.
