This Saturday in Thunder Bay – June 14, 2025
Thunder Bay is bursting with exciting events this Saturday, starting bright and early with the Tbaytel Motorcycle Ride for Dad Presented by PDR 2025 at The Superior Inn Hotel and Conference Centre, kicking off at 7:15 am in support of prostate cancer research. Soon after, the 4Paws Vendor Market opens at 8:00 am, offering a fantastic selection of pet-friendly products and local vendors to explore.
At 10:00 am, the city gets even busier with several great events including the ALS Canada – Walk to End ALS 2025 at Lyon Boulevard W., raising awareness and funds for ALS research, and the vibrant Goods And Co Market, where shoppers can find unique, locally made goods. Thunder Bay Mining Day also begins at the same time, highlighting the city’s rich mining history with interactive displays and family-friendly activities.
The fun continues into the afternoon with Chippewa Park Rides & Concession opening at 1:00 pm, a perfect stop for families. At 2:00 pm, music lovers can enjoy the Crossroad Music Summer Series 2025, featuring live performances sure to entertain.
By 4:00 pm, head over to Thunder City Speedway for the Heartbeat Heart Sauce Co Spring Warmup Double Header, an adrenaline-filled racing event. The evening heats up with live music at Wilson-Sabaz at The Industry starting at 6:30 pm, and two shows at 7:00 pm: Acoustic Night At Nortenos Taqueria and the magical performance of Mary Poppins at Redwood Park Church.
Later in the evening, dance and theatre fans have plenty of choices. CURTAIN CALL – Presented by Embody Dance Collective takes place at both Trinity Hall and another city location at 7:30 pm. Also at 8:00 pm, enjoy LE CABARET NOIR at Cambrian Players.
The night wraps up with several lively late events: Loud & Proud: Pride DJ Dance Party at Black Pirates Pub at 9:00 pm, Throwback At The Wayland and Band Night at Red Lion Smokehouse, both at 10:00 pm. And for those seeking a cultural touch, don’t miss Composers Canvas: A Portrait of Northwestern Ontario at Magnus Theatre. Whatever your interest, Thunder Bay offers something special this Saturday.
