Thunder Bay is brimming with activities from morning through night this Thursday, with events for all ages and interests. Whether you're looking for family-friendly fun, live music, fitness, or theatre, there's something happening near you.
Kick off the day with a ride on The Muskeg Express at Centennial Park starting at 11:00 a.m., followed by some classic summer fun at Chippewa Park Amusement Rides and Concession from 1:00 p.m. Runners can lace up for the Thursday Night Group Run on Lyon Boulevard or the Thursday Group Run at Fresh Air, both starting at 6:00 p.m. At the same time, enjoy live tunes at Summer In The Parking Lot: SOUR CREME AND THE SILVER SPOONS at The Superior Inn Hotel and Conference Centre. Sports fans can cheer on the home team at the Thunder Bay Border Cats Game, with first pitch at 6:35 p.m.
As the evening rolls in, head to Hillcrest Park for Piping in the Park – Macgillivray Pipe Band at 7:30 p.m., or take in some storytelling and song at Lies and Legends: The Musical Stories of Harry Chapin at Magnus Theatre’s outdoor stage. Music lovers and night owls can enjoy The DeFAMED All Ages Show at Black Pirates Pub at 8:00 p.m., or sing their hearts out at KARAOKE EVERY THURSDAY.
