THUNDER BAY -- If you've watched TV in the last five years, you have seen actor Teddy Kellogg! Whether it's on Murdoch Mysteries, Odd Squad or in his many commercials, he's been a part of your life whether you've known it or not. He's written and acted and produced multiple short films that you'll probably never see but that have won prizes at festivals.

“Teddy’s now living in Thunder Bay,” says ThunderCon media director Heather Dickson. “And commuting back and forth to Toronto for work. But for us geeks, his most recent work as Lt. Duke in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is very cool! It’s an exciting show and Teddy has some fascinating (and very entertaining) insights on the Behind the Scenes of filming in such an iconic franchise!”

Originally from the West Coast, Kellogg is a former DJ and radio host of the popular Vancouver show CabaRadio w/ Teddy Smooth, which was the winner of 3rd best late-night radio show three years in a row. Relocating to Toronto after that, he joined the illustrious Second City Conservatory program. He’s had roles in Murdoch Mysteries, Odd Squad, Reign and many others.

“We’re happy that we can bring Teddy into the ThunderCon spotlight,” says ThunderCon chair, Kevin Taylor. “This year is all about featuring local Canadian talent, and Teddy fits the bill perfectly.”

“I’m excited to be a part of this year's ThunderCon,” says Kellogg, “And I can’t wait to share stories and insights into the world of filmmaking. You know, to boldly go where no Teddy has gone before!”

ThunderCon runs Sept. 17 and 18, 2022, at the CLE grounds. For more information, go to www.thundercon.org, or contact chair Kevin Taylor at kevin@thundercon.org.
