Thunder Bay witnessed a significant drop in its inflation rate last month.
Reports from Statistics Canada shows that this area’s rate of inflation fell from 2.1 per cent in March to just 1.5 per cent in April.
Nationally, inflation was up two-tenths of a point to 1.9 per cent.
According to Statistics Canada we now have one of the lowest inflation rates of major urban areas in the country.
