THUNDER BAY – The Thunder Bay Blues Society still plans to hold Blues Blast 2020.

Organizers say the lineup remains the same, but instead of a March 28 date, they’ve pushed it back to Sept. 12.

Mississippi Heat and Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames remain atop the bill of the rescheduled festival, which will take place at the Port Arthur Polish Hall.

Also on the lineup are Tony Holiday and the Soul Service, Ted Hamill, Sunday Wilde and the 1 Eyed Jacks and The Chain.

Ticket sales are expected to resume in August.

The Thunder Bay Blues Society, reacting to the growing COVID-19 threat, has suspended all other events, including its 2020 annual general meeting in May.
