DRYDEN, Ont. – A renewed provincial shutdown will impact several public facilities in Dryden.

The Dryden Pool & Fitness Centre, Dryden & District Museum, and Dryden Arena will all close from Friday, April 2 until the shutdown order is lifted, the municipality announced Thursday.

The Dryden Public library will offer curbside pickup only, beginning April 6.

Fitness centre memberships at the Dryden Recreation Centre will be paused during the closure, and swimming lessons will be rescheduled.

All City of Dryden emergency and core services will continue with normal operations. Residents can contact the municipality at (807) 223-2225 or generalinquiries@dryden.ca.

The province-wide shutdown measures will be in place for at least four weeks after they take effect at 12:01 a.m. on April 3, said Premier Doug Ford as he announced the new strategy Thursday.
