The waterfront splash pad is now open for business.
The city announced the opening of the splash pad and water garden apvillion at Prince Arthur’s Landing Friday. The summertime amenities will remain open until Sept. 15.

Waterfront Splash Pad and Amenities Open for Season
May 24, 2013 – The Splash Pad and Water Garden Pavilion at Prince Arthur’s Landing are now open for the season until Sept. 15.
All ages are invited to enjoy the state-of-the-art Splash Pad, open daily from 11 am – 9 pm. The adjacent Water Garden Pavilion with change areas and public restrooms is also open 11 am – 9 pm daily.
The May Movie Nights in the Park - Late Night Series runs the next two Fridays in May. Thunder Bay Credit Unions proudly presents a great line-up of classic movies that were selected by residents through a voting process. Movies start after sunset, around 9:30 pm. Bring warm clothing, a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the show on the big screen overlooking beautiful Lake Superior. Admission is free. Concessions will be available.

Friday, May 31 – JAWS.
Movies Nights in the Park will return for a second series in August-September.
On Saturday, June 15, the Baggage Building Arts Centre will celebrate its first anniversary and will be hosting the first annual Waterfront Art Sale. Watch for more details in the weeks ahead.
