THUNDER BAY – Confederation College is excited to announce that it will be offering an intake of the community-based collaborative BScN program in September 2019.

The program is being supported at a selection of its regional campuses including Dryden, Lake of the Woods (Kenora), Rainy River District (Fort Frances) and Sioux Lookout.

Offered in some form since 2005, the main goal of the program is to provide education in students’ home communities to prepare them for healthcare careers in those same communities.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring this important program back to our regional communities,” said Kathleen Lynch, president of Confederation College.

“We know there is a clear need for qualified individuals in healthcare across northwestern Ontario. We look forward to bringing this educational opportunity to students where they live, to support them in attaining the skills and knowledge required to successfully pursue careers in their home communities.”

Confederation College invites Individuals to learn more about the program and indicate their interest in applying by visiting www.confederationcollege.ca/bscn/community-based.
