THUNDER BAY – An outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared at the St. Joseph’s Hospital, health authorities announced Thursday.
The outbreak is restricted to the Algoma Street facility’s Medically Complex Services (2 North) area, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit said in a statement.
The health unit said it had initiated a thorough assessment of the situation, and would work with St. Joseph’s Care Group to implement further measures as needed.
The health unit did not release further details of the outbreak in its advisory. TBnewswatch has reached out to SJCG for comment.
