THUNDER BAY – A prominent Thunder Bay Crown attorney has taken a leave of absence with pay, a spokesperson from the Ministry of Attorney General confirmed.

However, the ministry won’t say why Dan Mitchell has stepped aside.

A spokeswoman did confirm to TVO it’s not related to any criminal investigation, adding no further comment will be made because internal human resources matters are “internal and confidential.”
