THUNDER BAY -- City police have charged the driver of a truck believed to be involved in a recent hit and run.
The incident occurred last week and involved a garage on Peter Street. The garage was left heavily damaged, and police were left searching for the driver involved.
Thunder Bay Police Service officers say the driver of the truck attended the Balmoral Police Station on Saturday to speak to officers about the incident.
The 19-year-old male has been charged with careless driving, failure to remain and driving without insurance.
Police say the investigation is now complete.
