Police have a 41-year-old man in custody after a seizure of drugs bound for Big Trout Lake.

Ontario Provincial Police and Big Trout Lake say they were tipped off about a man flying into the northern reserve on May 25 with controlled substances allegedly in his possession.

The Weagamow, Ont. suspect, who is scheduled to appear in Big Trout Lake court on July 11, was arrested and charged with two counts of possession.

Police estimated the street value of the drugs seized at more than $3,000.
