Dryden man faces theft charges

Police charged one man with theft under $5,000 following two recent thefts.

SIOUX LOOKOUT, Ont. – Police have made an arrest in connection to a pair of recent thefts in Sioux Lookout.

Dryden Police Service officers have a 31-year-old Dryden man in custody awaiting bail in Sioux Lookout after he was charged with multiple thefts over the weekend.

Police say the 31-year-old was charged with theft from Safeway on Saturday and after being released on a promise to appear a second call reported that the 31-year-old tried to leave the LCBO with unpaid alcohol.

Police have charged the man with theft under $5,000.
