Firefighters responded to an early morning house fire on East Donald Street Wednesday.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at around 2:30 a.m. at a two -storey building in the 1200 block of East Donald Street.
Firefighters arriving on scene found smoke billowing from the front of the home, and a fire was visible in the front room on the main floor.
The fire was quickly brought under control.
A tenant in a basement apartment safely got out of the building.
The cause is under investigation.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire.
