First Nation communities, security firm form partnership

Three First Nation communities, in partnership with Canadian Security Management, have launched a specialized security firm in Northwestern Ontario.

Three First Nation communities, in partnership with Canadian Security Management, have launched a specialized security firm in Northwestern Ontario. 

A signing ceremony was held this morning between CSM and Naicatchewenin, Wunnumin Lake and Kingfisher Lake First Nations.

The purpose of the partnership is to offer security services to the mining, energy and construction industry.

President of Canadian Secuity Management Scott McIntosh said they hope to create local employment, revenue sharing and eventually a stand-alone security firm called, Synterra Security Solutions.

Patrol Services, Mine and Energy Sites and Security Consulting are just a few of the services that will be offered.
