Five chief candidates step forward for Fort William First Nation election

Five candidates have stepped forward seeking Fort William First Nation’s top elected position. Roy Charlie, Georjann Morriseau, Ken Ogima, Michael Pelletier and Melvin Pervais have all put their name forward as candidates for chief.

Roy Charlie, Georjann Morriseau, Ken Ogima, Michael Pelletier and Melvin Pervais have all put their name forward as candidates for chief.

Outgoing Chief Peter Collins is not seeking re-election.

Another 59 candidates have put their name forward seeking council seats.

Fort William First Nation elections are slated for April 7.
