Fort Frances man elected president of teachers' union

A Fort Frances high school teacher is now the head of a provincial teachers’ union. Paul Elliott was voted in as president of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation at a conference in Toronto Sunday.

A Fort Frances high school teacher is now the head of a provincial teachers’ union.

Paul Elliott was voted in as president of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation at a conference in Toronto Sunday. He will represent more than 60,000 education workers throughout the province. His term begins July 1.

Sue Doughty-Smith, an educational assistant from Thunder Bay, was elected as a provincial executive officer.
