Police have laid charges in connection with a fatal crash that took place near Ignace just before Christmas.
Officials with the OPP confirm that they have charged 80-year-old Albert Pautch, of Hawkestone, with careless driving.
Pautsch has a court date set for next month in Ignace.
He was involved in a crash that took place Dec. 23, 2012.
