THUNDER BAY —  A new outbreak of COVID-19 has been declared at a Thunder Bay nursing home, while a previously-declared outbreak has been partially resolved.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit on Monday reported an outbreak at Hogarth Riverview Manor, on 7 South (Violet Resident Home area).

Outbreaks that were declared earlier this month at the same facility, on the third floor and on 6 South, continue.

TBDHU said an outbreak declared on Friday at the Southbridge Roseview long-term care home now involves the Cheshire and Renaissance units only, as the situation in the Primrose unit has been resolved.

Outbreaks also continue at the Chartwell Arundel and Chartwell Hilldale retirement residences.
