Hospital loses key administrative member

The region’s hospital is losing a key member of its administrative team. 

Officials with the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre confirm with Thunder Bay Television that Scott Potts, the executive vice-president of corporate and diagnostic services, has resigned. 

No reason for his departure has been announced.

Elsewhere, the Thunder Bay Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association is losing its long-time executive director to retirement. 

Maurice Fortin has been with the CMHA for 31 years, 27 of which he was the organization’s first and only executive director. 

Fortin will officially leave his post on Dec. 31.
