A speeding motorist likely wishes he’d let up on the gas as he passed through Kenora early Monday morning.

Police pulled the man over at about 1 a.m. near Redditt Road and a further investigation led to the seizure of 25 pounds of marijuana, worth $200,000, allegedly found in the vehicle.

Calgary’s Matthew Hill, 27, was charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. He remains in custody and is expected in court later Monday.
