THUNDER BAY — OPP in Thunder Bay logged a total of 345 incidents last week.

Reported for June 30 to July 6, officers responded to a variety of incidents, including eTickets traffic complaints and assisting other police agencies.

Of the reported incidents, 35 charges were laid under the Criminal Code, 159 charges were laid under the Highway Traffic Act.

The OPP is reminding the public about its online reporting system, which allows citizens to self-report minor incidents as an alternative to having an officer attend the scene.

These numbers are not representative of police activity in the city at large, as the Thunder Bay Police Service has jurisdiction over the municipality itself and separately tracks calls for service.
