With less than 24 hours to before the polls open, the two Thunder Bay area Liberal candidates have picked up a key endorsement.
Local CAW President Kari Jefford has sent an e-mail to all of her members, urging them to support Bill Mauro and Michael Gravelle.
Jefford cites the strong relationship the union has had with the Liberal incumbents over the past eight years, and the inexperience of the NDP candidates.
Jeffords says having the two seats shift from Liberal to NDP may result in a power shift that would allow the Conservatives to take power at Queens Park.
The CAW represents about 3,000 local workers, including employees at Bombardier, YES Employment Services and the homes for the aged.
