KENORA, Ont. — A 66-year old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was assaulted on the weekend in downtown Kenora.
Ontario Provincial Police have charged a 43-year-old Fort Frances man with aggravated assault.
The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. Saturday.
Police said the victim was transferred to a Winnipeg hospital.
No update on his condition was immediately available.
After a bail hearing, the accused man was remanded into custody until his next court appearance.
