THUNDER BAY -- Parents will have to find a way to get students to school on their own on Wednesday morning.

Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay says because the ambient temperature outside is below -34 C, all morning routes have been cancelled.

Schools will remain open.

Buses are scheduled to run in the afternoon, meaning students will be delivered home when classes let out.

The City of Thunder Bay says it has also cancelled the crossing guard program for the morning because of the cold weather.
