Wasaya Airlines has formed a new partnership.
Officials with the airline company announced Friday morning that it would be joining a partnership with Download Contracting Limited to form Wasaya Download Contracting.
Wasaya President Tom Kam said they have also formed a partnership with Morgan Transfer to create a Wasaya trucking company.
“We started off with one business, but we found that when there’s competition that we had a hard time competing so we had to develop a business that would compliment these services.”
The new services will also help Wasaya produce more competitive bids on certain projects.
The company also announced Friday that it has added a new shareholder to their group with the addition of Fort Severn First Nation.
