There has been another robbery of a Mac's convenience store in the city.
Just after 3 a.m. Wednesday morning, officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say the store at May Street and Northern Avenue was held up by a man wearing a bandana, and brandishing a knife.
The suspect fled the scene with some cash and cigarettes. The employee was not injured as a result of the robbery.
Police are now looking for a suspect they describe as being an Aboriginal man, standing about five-feet-seven inches, with wavy black hair and brown eyes.
He wore black pants, a black jacket with orange or red on the inside of the hood and a multi-coloured scarf at the time of the incident.
This was the 23rd robbery of a Mac's Mart this year and the 13th since Sept. 1.
Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact police at 684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 623-8477.
