Police have charged two people, including a 17-year-old man, following a pair of recent knife-related incidents.
Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say one of those incidents involved an altercation Tuesday night in a Simpson Street laneway.
A man was stabbed during the course of an argument. The victim then punched his assailant, which knocked him unconscious.
Both men had to be taken to the hospital.
The stabbing victim is listed in fair condition in hospital, while the second man has been charged with aggravated assault.
The other incident took place Tuesday afternoon during an argument between a male and a female student at Hammarskjold High School.
A third student approached the pair, pulled a knife and threatened the girl.
A short time later, the second male student again approached the girl and made another threat.
The 17-year-old was later arrested at his home and charged with assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
