PSA: Here's your chance to play with the Staals

Chance to play with the Staals in the Pandora Intercity Summer Classic

Kids ages 9-14 are invited to participate in a brand new contest for a chance to play in the Pandora Intercity Summer Classic on July 11 at Whitewater Golf Course. It’s the chance of a lifetime to play road hockey with celebrities, including the Staal brothers.

To enter, kids need to upload a video of their best street hockey move(s) at www.staalopen.ca/teamstaal or by uploading a video on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram  and using the hashtag #TeamStaal2016 . Videos must be submitted by May 23 at 9 a.m. The top 20 highest voted videos move on to the fundraising round.

The top 20 highest voted entrants will have an online fundraising page created for them by the Health Sciences Foundation and they need to fundraise as much as they can for the Northern Cancer Fund. For every $20 raised, the child will receive one ballot for the chance to play with the Staals. The more money raised, the better the chances.

In mid June, the Health Sciences Foundation will announce #TeamStaal2016. The top 3 fundraisers are guaranteed a spot to play in the Pandora Intercity Summer Classic with the Staals, while the additional 2 spots will be randomly drawn from the ballots collected by the remaining 17 fundraisers.
