City police are investigating another convenience store robbery.

Officials with the Thunder Bay Police Service say officers responded to reports of a robbery at the Mac’s Mart convenience store on the corner of May and Dease Streets early Friday morning.

Police say a man armed with scissors entered the store just after 6 a.m.

The man’s face was concealed with a black neck warmer.

The man pulled his hood up and leaned over the counter to demand money and cigarettes.

Police say he left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The employee was not injured as a result of the robbery.

Police are now looking for a suspect they describe as being an Aboriginal man with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a long black jacket and a grey hoodie with a white pattern on the hood.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Thunder Bay Police Service at 807-684-1200 or Crime Stoppers at 807-623-8477.
