The 24-year-old-man charged with cutting down a tree near Boulevard Lake won’t appear in court again until next month.

Robert Harris briefly appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay Wednesday to set a date for trial.

Harris requested that the judge push back the case so that he could better prepare with his lawyer.

The judge adjourned the matter until Nov. 28.

Police charged Harris in June for allegedly cutting down a 100-year-old white pine on Lyon Boulevard.

None of the charges have been proven in court.
