Two-vehicle collision

An ugly-looking south-side two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon looked worse than it was, say police on scene. A Chevy Blazer lay flipped on its side as a result of the crash.

An ugly-looking south-side two-vehicle collision Monday afternoon looked worse than it was, say police on scene.

A Chevy Blazer lay flipped on its side as a result of the crash. 

One person was sent to hospital for precautionary reasons after the two vehicles collided just after 3 p.m. Police said one vehicle was traveling northbound on Mountdale Avenue, the other eastbound on Walsh Street when the incident occurred

The investigation continues. Police were unable to say if charges would be laid. A portion of Mountdale Avenue was closed while emergency crews cleared the scene.
