It appears eight Thunder Bay Police officers collected a hefty cheque following the G8 and G20 summits last June. According to documents acquired by CBC/Radio Canada, the eight officers averaged $6,611.20 apiece for eight days of work, or $826 a day.

Watermain work to shut down section of Algoma
